Mission

UCB Brazil (locally UCB Brasil) is an evangelistic association indenominacional nonprofit whose mission is to reach lives for Jesus Christ and build His church through the dissemination of the Word of God. To meet this goal UCB uses various media such as radio, internet and media writing.

Goals

The distribution of PPH is made for about 100 voluntary distributors who register every quarter to receive the magazine and use it with evangelistic purposes. The magazine can also be customized for ministries and businesses as a way to raise funds to ensure the gratuity of journals hospitals distributed in prisons and other places with evangelistic purposes. Currently PPH can also be purchased by annual subscription.

Background

UCB Brazil began in 2004, when Silvia Calmon realized the need for their local church to get access to current and dynamic devotional material to be used in their family groups. At that time, the translation of The Word for Today was done by her in her home and some Xerox copies were made for use at meetings.

After a few months contact was made with UCB International who gave access to “The Word for Today” to be published in Brazil. The first edition of the magazine was of 2,000 copies. Today, PPH is published quarterly in our country, reaching more than 30,000 people in all regions in each edition, and other Portuguese-speaking countries in Africa, UK and Indian dialect Ticuna in the upper Amazon.
