Mission
The heart and mission of UCB France and Phare FM is to see changed lives in the people of France because of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Goals
Phare FM radio is a collective network of Christian community radio stations. It’s main purpose is to help change lives, or more precisely to help people walk with God, by reintroducing values and giving hope. It targets a wide audience with pop/rock music varieties, dotted with different educational and spiritual spots. Phare FM also shows a strong interest in current events and local life, found online at www.pharefm.com . Today no fewer than seven FM frequencies broadcast PHARE and hopefully soon there will be others who join the network. Phare FM is the first Christian music radio station in France and Francophonie.
Background
Phare FM was developed on the foundations established through many partners. With the assistance of UCB, the team has established a network of stations as well as supporting the discipling arm of their ministry through the provision of the daily devotional, The Word for Today. The french translation produced and distributed by the team at UCB France is called Parole du Jour.
